Pre-K Program
Saint Dominic Academy Prekindergarten
Where friends come to learn, play and grow.
About St. Dom's Pre-K
Our faith-filled classroom places special emphasis on social and emotional learning through a standards-based early childhood curriculum. Daily instruction takes place in small or large group learning centers, featuring weekly learning units in literacy, math, science, social studies, and religion. Our program is enhanced by creative and outdoor play, service projects, and regularly scheduled classes in art, music, computer, library, and physical education.
In our Pre-K, the St. Dom's mission is echoed throughout the classrooms of our littlest Saints. Through study, prayer, community, and service, Saint Dominic Academy teaches its students the truth of life so that they may set the world afire.
We believe that children thrive in an environment that values their own uniqueness, while being supported and being given opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, and creatively. By building on each child's strengths, interests, and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them, develop new abilities, and form close relationships.
Program Options
St. Dom's Pre-K is for children ages four to five years old. Children are expected to be potty trained and need minimal assistance with self-help skills.
