Bird Club

Do you enjoy watching birds? Do you like to identify different species and enjoy the outdoors? Students will go outside to find birds, learn to use bird apps, play bird games and enjoy bird movies!

Campus Ministry

To foster the spiritual well-being of the students, parents, faculty, and staff. Composed of the School Chaplain, Director of Campus Ministry, and student Assistant Chaplains. The Campus Ministry team works alongside students, faculty, and staff to provide students with numerous faith-filled opportunities to help build and strengthen their relationship with God and one another.

Chess Club

Learn and improve your chess game! Students will work through specific situations to test and improve their game.

Class Officers

Elected students work with the members of the Student Senate to assist in organizing events for their respective grades. Class officer positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Cribbage Crew

Learn how to play cribbage! It's a great old classic game and will help with basic math skills. 

Advisor: Mr. Gagne 

District 2 & All State Music

Audition-entry chorus, band and orchestra festivals. Music practiced at school, performed at two-day festivals in Jan/Feb (District 2) and May (All-State)

Drama

Students will express themselves and develop and learn theater skills.

Garden Club

Students will experience God's creation by planting and growing food in our St. Francis' Garden. The food grown is used in the school cafeteria and the local food pantries!

Girls Faith Club

For high school girls to grow in faith, friendship and who God is calling them to be. Sister will help our teenage girls navigate the challenges of today's society from a Catholic Faith perspective.

Guitar Club

Are you interested in learning how to play the guitar or would love to hone your skills? Bring your own guitar or borrow one from Mr. Gagne!

Health Club

Mentorship style program to assist our students in their selection and journey into the field of medicine and medical related careers. This program would provide each student with valuable insight into the health care profession, and provide them with the opportunity to make connections with current leaders in the field. 

Students will learn study tips, test taking skills, medical terminology, reading chest x-rays, CAT scans, EKG skills, basic life support skills, suturing, health care policy, as well as other skills relevant to the representative disciplines.

High School Math Team

See Math in new and wondrous ways! Compete against 13 local area schools and 100 schools statewide. Everyone is welcome to join the math team. Come and expand your math knowledge and skills!

High School Quiz Show

High School Quiz Show is a Maine locally produced TV production spearheaded by veteran producer Nick Woodward. It puts four-student teams from Maine high schools against each other in a single-elimination academic bracket competition. 

Questions used in each contest align with Maine high school curriculum standards across literature, history, science and math, as well as questions regarding current events and general knowledge.

Improv Club

If you love acting, improvising scenes, or just having fun making stuff up on the fly, this club will help you develop self-confidence and like skills while being crazy and having a blast! Focus includes: creative writing/slam poetry, music and composing.

Junior Student Senate

We are looking for student leaders who are interested in planning events and fundraising for our Middle School. This is a great opportunity to get involved and make a difference in your school!

Key Club

Key Club hosts a variety of events such as Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving baskets for the elderly, Giving Tree, Dempsey Challenge, and the annual Dinner for Religious Women of the Diocese. The Key Club is a high school Club with a focus on service work.

Middle School Math Team

Have fun while learning more about math and thinking outside the box. All middle schoolers are welcome.

Mock Trial

Increase awareness of the process and procedures of the court of law. Students will be involved in a competition in Portland in November. 

Advisor: Mrs. Pontbriand & Mr. Harvell 

Model UN

Students will attend a conference and attempt to solve world problems, just like the UN!

Music Ministry

For those interested in assisting and leading our school community in song at our weekly and special liturgies. We welcome vocalists and instrumentalists.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) mission is to recognize and promote high school students who excel in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The NHS also aims to prepare students for future success by helping them develop a well-rounded character.

Student Senate

Elected students advocate and plan for school events, policy changes, and student involvement. There is an election process for membership. This process takes place in the spring for the 10th-12th graders, and in the fall for the 9th graders.

Recycling Club

Collaborate with the Recycling Club to preserve our Earth's beauty! Students will meet in the commons and go around the school grounds to pick up trash!
