Fall 2021 Soccer for Grades Pre-K to 6

 

We are pleased to open registration for youth soccer this fall!

Pre-K and Kindergarten
Our youngest athletes will meet for 1 hour, once a week on Saturday mornings in September and October at the Auburn Campus for skills and drills.  The fee is $25 per player.

1st and 2nd Grade Beginner Soccer
1st and 2nd graders will practice once a week at the Auburn Campus.  The practice schedule will be announced by the coach.  Games will be once a week on Sundays and will be four 8 minute quarters with five vs. five, plus goalkeepers, format. Coaches will referee the games. A size 3 ball is recommended for practice. The fee is $50 per player.

3rd and 4th Grade Intermediate Soccer
3rd and 4th graders will practice one to two times a week at the Auburn Campus. The practice schedule will be announced by the coach. Games will be once a week on Sundays and will be four 10 minute quarters with seven vs. seven, plus goalkeepers, format. Referees will be volunteer high school students.  A size 4 is recommended for practices. The fee is $50 per player.

5th and 6th Grade Junior Soccer
5th & 6th graders will practice one to two times a week at the Auburn Campus. The practice schedule will be announced by the coach. Games will be once a week on Saturdays and will be two 25 minute halves. Game location varies. Referees will be volunteer high school students. A size 5 is recommended for practice. The fee is $50 per player.

Summer Basketball for Grades K through 6

 

Thank you to all participants in this summer's basketball program, including our middle and high school players who served as counselors and counselors-in-training.  Thank you Coach Josh LaPrell for organizing these sessions and for teaching basketball fundamentals in fun and creative ways!

Summer Boys' Soccer for Grades 9 through 12

 

New and returning boys entering 9th through 12th grade are welcome to join Coach Brady Whetzel's summer soccer program, which will include a full summer of training with scrimmages against other summer soccer programs.  Following a successful winter season coaching one of Seacoast United's U19 Boy's teams, Coach Brady brings a revitalized team-building program that will also hone in on specific skills and personal development.  Coach Brady will share a fitness plan for the team at the end of the first week of the summer program after evaluating the fitness level of each player.

The summer boys' soccer schedule starts Monday, June 28. Sessions will be on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5-6 pm at the Auburn Campus at 121 Gracelawn Road.  Dates and times of scrimmages against other schools will be communicated once confirmed.

Summer Girls' Soccer for Grades 9 through 12

 

All new or returning girls who will be in high school in the fall of 2021 may participate in the summer program run by girls' varsity soccer coach, Tyler Shennett.  The program consists of training sessions starting June 15 and games starting June 21.   See attached for more information.

Summer Boys' Basketball for Grades 7 through 12

 

New and returning boys and girls entering grades 7 through 12 in the coming year are welcome to join Coach Josh LaPrell's summer basketball program at the Auburn Campus.  The program will involve both a varsity and a junior varsity team.  

The varsity team consisting of high school players will play 10 games.  Middle school (grades 7 and 8) up to sophomores will make up the JV team and will play 6 games.   The rosters for each summer team will be communicated after the first week.

Practices begin Monday, June 14 will be located at the St. Dom's Auburn Campus.  See the revised schedule listing dates, times, and locations linked below. 

Boys' Summer Basketball Camp June 28 – July 1

 

Basketball summer camp for grades 7 – 12 begins at 8:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.  Campers should bring a lunch.  Varsity players will be the coaches for skills, drills, and scrimmages during the week and the middle schoolers will be learning from them how to be coaches, so when they are on varsity, they will be comfortable being a coach.

Athletics will exist as they did before the COVID-19 pandemic.
