Meal logistics have been adjusted at both campuses of Saint Dominic Academy in order to mitigate the risk of transmission of the coronavirus.  We recognize that some changes will place added burdens on our families and students, and thank you for your patience.

Online Meal Ordering

In order for students to receive a school breakfast (at the Auburn Campus) or lunch (both campuses) this year, parents must pre-order meals in advance on FACTS.  Pre-ordered lunches will be delivered to classrooms or other designated rooms each day and billed to the family account as usual.  Here is the link to FACTS.

Lunch Logistics

All students at the elementary campus, and all of our high school students (grades PreK-5 and 9-12), will be eating their lunches in their classrooms until further notice.  Middle school students (grades 6-8) will be eating their lunch in the Commons and Gym, where there is adequate room for them to maintain the needed physical distance prior to exiting the building for recess (weather permitting).

Students are encouraged to bring their own lunches with them each day.  They should make sure to bring their own utensils, napkins, and water bottles, as these items will not be available in classrooms.  Students are asked not to share food with other students and certainly not to share water bottles.  They should also be prepared to pack up any leftover food and wrappers at the end of lunch to bring home, since waste containers will be limited in the classroom.

Auburn Campus Breakfast

Due to logistics difficulties, rather than a mid-morning break, the Auburn campus will open for breakfast each morning beginning at 7:40AM.  Students will be able to pick up pre-ordered breakfasts and sit at the proper physical distances in the Commons.  If more than 50 students are present for breakfast, overflow students will be seated in the gym.  Breakfast finishes at 8:10AM for high school students and 8:15AM for middle school.
