Team Saint Dominators is Ready for Action

St. Dom’s Robotics team is ready to compete in the FRC league (First Robotics Competition). As part of the competition, the Saint Dominators were given their challenge in January and had six weeks to build a robot that had to meet specific requirements. Their robot will then be tested in a competition against 40 other teams from across New England.

They spent many an early morning, late evening and weekends making sure every part of the robot was in working order. “There were many pizza and home depot runs for last minute parts and food to keep us going,” said Addie Suckow, a junior at St. Dom’s.  “We had many things to build, test, rebuild, and test again. But after all this, we were still able to complete what is arguably the best robot this team has ever built with an hour left to spare!”

The team will compete at Bridgewater-Raynham High School in Bridgewater, MA from March 9-11.  Their next competition will be closer to home at the Colisee on March 23-24. Come down and check out all the action and cheer on the team!
