Saint Dominic Academy Seventh Grader to Attend the State Speech Competition

AUBURN --- On April 28, 2016, students from Saint Dominic Academy, Holy Cross School, St. John’s School, St. Brigid’s School and Durham Community School competed in the Level 2 Speech Contest sponsored by Modern Woodmen of America. The contest was held at Saint Dominic Academy’s Auburn Campus.
Prior to this contest, the competing students had already won first, second or third place in the Level 1 competition. They shared their presentations on this year’s topic “Hunger in America.” The first place winner was Ethan Rombalski, a seventh grade student from Saint Dominic Academy, who won a $50 cash award and a trophy. Saint Dominic Academy will also receive an engraved trophy.
Ethan will go on to compete at the Level 3 State Speech Competition held at Saint Dominic Academy’s Auburn Campus next Wednesday, May 4 at 6 p.m.
