Welcome St. Dom's Alumni!

It is my pleasure to welcome you back to St. Dom’s. Your school is alive and well, and bigger and better than ever! We are now a PreK through 12 school and have campuses in Lewiston (the former Holy Cross School which houses grades PreK through 6) and Auburn (on our 72 acres, where grades 7 through 12 are housed).

As President and parent of two St. Dom’s alumnus, I have come to know and experience the long-standing, special bond held between each of our graduates and their classmates. Our roots in Central Maine run deep. Since 1881, when the first Catholic school was founded in the Lewiston/Auburn area and then in 1941 when Fr. Drouin founded St. Dom’s, thousands of Catholic school graduates have spread out around the world to raise families, to answer God’s call to religious ministry, and to be beacons of light in the working world.

From the time I became Principal in 2006 to now as President, I have had the good fortune to meet many of you through reunion activities, graduations when the school honors classes celebrating significant milestone years, and in my travels around the great State of Maine. In each instance, you have shared fond memories of your time at St. Dom’s; the teachers who inspired you, the coaches who challenged and led you to State Championship victories, and the life-long friends you made. I value and treasure each of these stories, confirming my belief that St. Dom’s has been a gift to each student who has walked our halls.

And speaking of walking our halls, many of you have returned to visit our Auburn facility that opened in January of 2002. This beautiful, sprawling campus, combined with our historically rich Lewiston campus, continues the vision Fr. Drouin had so many years ago that the young people of Maine would have a fitting environment in which to receive a world-class, values-based education. If you have not had the opportunity to visit us, please give us a call. We would love to give you a tour of your school. While our physical location may have changed to include campuses in both Lewiston and Auburn, one thing has not changed - St. Dom’s will always be a tight-knit community of students striving for excellence in the classroom and in athletic and extra-curricular competitions and activities.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
