FACTS Tuition Assistance
Many families inquire if tuition scholarships are available to assist in making a St. Dom’s education more affordable. YES! Through the G. Michael Welch Scholarship program, families in grades K – 12 are able to apply for a scholarship. Through this scholarship program, we hope to meet the need of every family desiring the benefits of a private, Catholic education.
Like many colleges and universities, we make use of a third-party company to assist us in determining the amount of tuition aid that each of our families should receive, based on the financial information they provide. Once an account has been created and your information submitted, the FACTS Management company will process the information and send us a financial aid report. We will then use this information to determine a financial aid package for the coming school year. Information is submitted online. The FACTS website has more information on how to set up your account if you are interested in applying for a tuition scholarship.
Tuition assistance applications should be submitted to FACTS after November 1 with all supporting financial documentation (W2s & 1040s) submitted to FACTS no later than November 30. Tuition aid letters will be mailed beginning in January. Applications received after this date may result in a family receiving less than they may have qualified for.
Please feel free to contact the admissions office if you have any questions or concerns regarding this process: 207.782.6911 or email Marianne.Pelletier@portlanddiocese.org.
